Miscarriage Grief
Suppport
A gentle space to honor, process, and soften
Pregnancy loss carries a grief that is often invisible to the world yet deeply felt in the body, heart, and spirit. It is so often not talked about and many do not take the time needed to be processed.
This offering is a quiet, intentional space for you to be witnessed, supported, and held as you honor both yourself and the soul that came through.
Whether your loss was recent or years ago, your experience matters. There is no timeline for grief.
This low-cost community offering is my way of giving back and creating access to care during a tender time.
What a Session May include:
Each session is guided by what feels right for you. It may include:
Gentle womb massage to support circulation, grounding, and reconnection
Guided meditation for honoring and integration
Reiki energy work to help release and rebalance
Simple ritual for remembrance and acknowledgment
Closing of the Bones (optional), a traditional postpartum ritual to support emotional and energetic integration
You may choose to share your story during our time together, before the session, or not at all. Your grief does not need to be explained to be honored.
There is no right way to experience this space. You are invited exactly as you are.
The Intention
This session is not about “moving on.” It is about honoring. Integrating. Softening.
And allowing your body and heart to process in a supported way.
FAQs
-
Whether your loss was recent or years ago, your experience matters. Too often those experiencing pregnancy loss do not take the time to truly process their feelings. There is no timeline for grief, and I am here to support you wherever you are in this journey.
-
Yes. I provide compassionate, in-person support for families throughout the greater Louisville and Lexington areas, whether you are navigating a loss at home or at a local medical facility (such as Norton Women’s & Children’s or Baptist Health). I am available to join you at the hospital, support you during the physical process of an early miscarriage at home, or provide comforting in-home postpartum bodywork and emotional processing visits in the weeks following your loss.
-
Absolutely. Pregnancy loss brings an intense wave of hormonal shifts, physical trauma, and deep emotional fatigue that often traps the nervous system in a state of shock or chronic flight-or-fight. Gentle energy and bodywork like Reiki and Reflexology offers a non-invasive, safe way to begin regulating your nervous system again. These sessions are structured to give your body a gentle soft-landing space to rest, process stagnant grief, and slowly begin the physical and emotional healing process.
-
Your grief is a reflection of your love and the future you were planning, and it is entirely valid regardless of how many weeks your pregnancy lasted. There is no timeline or "minimum threshold" for heartbreak. Seeking support during an early miscarriage isn't a sign of weakness; it is a profound act of self-care to ensure your mind and body are fully held as you navigate this unexpected rite of passage.
