Hi sister,
I’M LARA LASKY.
Prior to becoming a certified doula and a Certified Holistic Reproductive Practitioner, I had a long career as a public health scientist. Although it was rewarding work, something was missing, and I found myself yearning for more one-on-one connections and the ability to make a difference in the lives of families. Then my sister, an OBGYN and midwife herself, invited me to attend the births of her children, and I was hooked. Nothing compares to the moment new life comes earthside.
My own struggles with fertility, and my less than picture-perfect birth, have led me to believe that everyone should have someone by their side to ride the waves of emotion that come when you are working to bring life into the world.
These experiences led me on my new path to support women and families with holistic, full-spectrum doula support throughout pre-conception, pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.
It is my great joy to work with women throughout their journeys into parenthood and beyond. Regardless of where the journey takes you, I am here to walk along the path with you.
