Pregnancy Celebration Circles are a return to the ancient way; where pregnant women are cherished, not managed, and stories are medicine passed from hand to hand. These gatherings, inspired by Elder Midwife Sister Morningstar, are a space for sharing powerful birth stories, voicing fears without advice, and receiving blessings for the journey ahead.
We come together as sisters, weaving food, laughter, ritual, and gentle care into a space where pregnant women are honored simply for being. We eat. We speak. We bless. We paint bellies. We remember that birth is a rite, not a procedure, and that holding one another changes everything.
Come as you are. All birthing people are welcome, no matter your birth plan, setting, or provider. Your presence matters.

Birth Story Medicine Circle
Free event to share birth stories
SUNDAY 4/26 & TUESDAY 6/23 FROM 4 TO 6 PM
Held in circle with Full Circle Holistic
Birth changes us. In the old ways, women would sit in circle to tell their birth stories, surrounded by those who knew how to listen without fixing, to witness without judgment, to hold space for the deep medicine that birth brings — joy, grief, anger, awe, all of it.
This circle is for that.
For you.
For your story.
For what hasn’t been spoken.
For the parts you’re proud of and the ones you’re still making peace with.
This is a space to share if you feel called, to listen if you need quiet, and to heal in the presence of other women who have walked the path of matrescence. You’ll be guided in conscious listening, non-arguable sharing, and sacred reflection.
Come be held. Come be heard. Come remember.

Circle of Care: Birth & Beyond
First Tuesday of every month • 6:00–8:00 PM at The Mothertree | 1257 Lydia Street, Louisville KY 40217
Circle of Care: Birth & Beyond is a monthly community space for anyone who supports families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early parenthood.
This gathering welcomes all perinatal professionals—doulas, midwives, lactation specialists, childbirth educators, mental health providers, bodyworkers, and anyone offering care within the childbearing continuum.
Each month, we come together to:
Connect with peers
Share experiences and collective wisdom
Exchange resources
Strengthen the village that supports local families
Bring a story, a question, business cards, or simply yourself. There is no cost to attend—just an open heart and a desire to build a more connected, collaborative community for the families we serve.
